1. What these terms cover

These terms govern the use of the website at bassnutmeg.com, which belongs to the operator of Bass Nutmeg. They apply to reading the pages and to sending an enquiry through the form. Engagements for route planning work are governed separately by the Terms and Conditions and by the written proposal.

By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

2. What the site is, and what it is not

Bass Nutmeg offers advisory work on route planning: delivery sequencing, arrival-window estimation and fleet utilisation review. The site describes those services and their starting fees.

It is not a transport business. Bass Nutmeg does not carry goods, operate vehicles or employ drivers, and the site does not claim a freight transport licence or any professional qualification. Nothing on the site is an offer to carry your cargo.

3. Information on the pages

The descriptions, durations and starting fees on the site are for general information. They are not a quotation and do not form a contract; the scope, fee and schedule of an engagement are fixed only in a written proposal that both sides accept.

The diagrams are schematic illustrations drawn for this site. They show how a plan or a review might be laid out and are not measurements, client results or maps of real routes.

We try to keep the pages accurate, but we do not promise that they are free of mistakes or up to date at every moment.

4. Using the enquiry form

Please give truthful contact details and describe your question in your own words. Do not send passwords, payment card numbers or full operational records through the form. If records are needed for an engagement we will agree a way of sending them.

Automated or bulk submissions are not allowed. How personal information from the form is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• try to gain unauthorised access to the site or to the systems behind it;
• interfere with its operation, for example by sending large volumes of automated requests;
• copy the site's text, diagrams or layout for another site without written permission;
• use the site to send unlawful, abusive or misleading material.

6. Intellectual property

The text, diagrams and layout of this site belong to the operator unless stated otherwise. You may read and print the pages for your own use and may quote short passages with a reference to bassnutmeg.com. Any other use needs written permission.

7. Availability and changes

The site is provided as it is. We may change, suspend or remove pages, including prices and descriptions, at any time and without notice, for maintenance or for any other reason. We do not promise uninterrupted access.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using or relying on the pages as they stand, from interruptions of the site or from viewing it on a particular device. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Japanese law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, and nothing restricts the rights of a consumer under the Consumer Contract Act.

9. Links and other sites

The pages link only to other pages of this site. If a link to another site is added later, we are not responsible for that site's content or for how it handles your information, and it will be named plainly as an outside link.

10. Language

The site is written in English for businesses that operate in Japan. The Japanese headings that appear on the legal pages, such as the seller notice and the address, are given so that the Japanese wording can be found easily. Where the English text and a Japanese heading seem to differ, please write to us and we will clarify.

11. Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by Japanese law. Disputes that arise from the use of the site are to be brought before the courts that have jurisdiction under Japanese law.
